About This Product

Teaching science to our elementary students opens them up to a whole new world of interests, but with a whole new take! They get to learn about the weather and its changes. They get to learn about animals and their offspring. They get to learn about natural wonders, such as volcanoes! There are so many engaging things for students to learn during science.

What You Get:

This is an Adaptations Worksheet that is ideal for elementary students who have been introduced to animal adaptations.

How To Implement This Resource:

You can print off enough copies of this worksheet for each student to have. You may also choose to print only a few copies and laminate those. If you choose to laminate them, students can use dry erase markers to write answers. This is a great way to turn this into a science center or small group activity.

On the first page, students will fill in the missing words for each animal. There are 5 animals, and each animal has 2 sentences to complete. The animals are squirrel, camel, mole, frog, and bear.

The second page will have a word bank of the missing words. This will help students better determine what words they need to use. At the bottom of the page, they will draw their favorite animal and label it.

I hope you enjoy!
