Breaking the Big Words Vol. 2, Set 6: Syllable Division Practice for Early Readers Learning to read is a critical skill for elementary students. An important part of building reading skills is helping students master syllable division. When young readers can break words into syllables, they become confident decoders ready to take on more texts. Breaking the Big Words Vol. 2, Set 6 focuses on one- and two-syllable words with V/CV syllable patterns (vowel/consonant-vowel) and -le syllable types. The activities scaffold students' learning with visual supports to ensure independence.
