Candy Cane Ordering by Size

Candy Cane Ordering by Size is a fun Christmas themed math activity for kindergarteners and first graders to practice ordering objects by size. Students will arrange candy canes from biggest to smallest or vice versa. Two no-prep worksheets, one for each order direction, ask students to cut and paste candy canes. A third printable provides picture cards for additional sorting practice. Use for morning work, math centers, small groups, substitute plans and more. As students order candy canes, they will gain experience with nonstandard measurement. Print, laminate and cut apart cards for durability.
