Citing Evidence Digital Lesson

The Citing Evidence Digital Lesson provides middle school language arts teachers with interactive and scaffolded digital lessons to help students master citing text evidence. This teaching resource includes 4 differentiated Google slides lessons that allow students to work at their own pace in finding text evidence. The lessons walk students step-by-step through the process of highlighting, underlining, and pulling quotes from passages to support their answers and ideas. Different slide deck options provide scaffolding for students needing more or less support. A self-grading quiz is also included to check students' understanding. Teachers can utilize these digital lessons for whole group instruction via classroom projection. Students can also work through the slides independently or in small groups with classroom devices or assigned as homework.
