Clip It and Flip It Addition with Dice
About This Product
Beginning Math. Addition to 12 with Dice. 6 bonus cards with "how many more make 10?" Designed so the answer prints on the back of each card for easy, self-checking independence! Black and white line art, ink saving. Fun hands-on activity.
Students look at the card, determine the answer, clip their answer with a clothes pin or other clip you provide, flip the card to check their answer, remove the clip and repeat with another card. The clip and flip activity also works fine motor skills and is great for the pincer grasp. Large cards, answer choices at bottom for ease for left- and right-handed students. Straight line cutting makes it easier for you to prep.
Clip It and Flip It Cards are a great addition to your task boxes for math centers. They can also be used in individualized work baskets, for early finishers, morning work, or homework. I typically place them in a slim, 5 x 7 photo case with a couple of clothespins and use for center activities (2 students per center). A co-worker has them in pencil bags as morning work for the students while she is taking attendance, lunch count, and other morning duties. Another teacher just printed the front pages, laminated, and presented them at small group with clear counters, using this as a quick assessment. There are many ways to use these Addition Task Cards.
Designed for my Kindergarten Classroom, aligning with Common Core Standards K.OA.A.1 and K.OA.A.5, I have also used them in Pre-K and with my older special needs students.
36 clip cards are included in this 29 page PDF. Print selected pages on double-sided, short edge binding, printing so that answers are on back of each card. If you do not have that option, print odd pages first, then place them in your printer tp print the even pages on the back.
