Counting 0 to 5 Interactive PowerPoint Rhyme

About This Product
This fun, animated Counting 0 to 5 Interactive PowerPoint has been made to assist parents and teachers to help children to learn one-to-one correspondence when counting and to know that when we add one more, we say the next number.
The activity is based on a simple rhyme:
One little bird in the sky so blue, along came another and that made two etc…
Who is this counting PowerPoint for?
I enjoyed making this PowerPoint for a speech-delayed 8yr old child who is having trouble grasping 1:1 correspondence and I am working with him to help him to understand the worth of ‘1’ and the effect of adding ‘1 more’.
It can be used with very young children or with those with special needs. All will be equally delighted.
It does have a more grown-up feel than that provided by most early counting rhymes.
Special features:
Hand-drawn realistic pictures make this PowerPoint attractive to children, featuring Wrens, Redstarts, Robins, Mallard Ducks and
How to use this counting PowerPoint
Full instructions are provided at the end of the PowerPoint.
Click to reveal numbers and to add one more bird. Then count again. Children will enjoy repeating the activity saying the rhyme once they know it,
There are five slides to the rhyme with 5 more slides to practice counting skills. When the correct number is selected it spins and chimes.
There is no sound (other than chimes on the practice slides), allowing the teacher/parent to give the child as much time as needed to respond.
Full narration is given.
Follow on work:
Why not let your pupils act the rhyme out themselves with homemade finger puppets?
