Collection 2 of the easy phonics poems is for early readers, or struggling readers in 2nd (or higher) grade.  The phonics poems are slightly harder than Collection 1 with longer sentences and more long-vowel words.  The phonics poems emphasize word families, decodable words, and high-frequency words.  The fun clipart supports the theme of the poem.

The words have a nice flow – no awkward stumbling caused by a poor attempt to get words to rhyme.  The sentences make sense.
