Our children absolutely love to play this highly engaging Farm Animals puzzle game! Cut each puzzle along the line in the middle and invite your children to match each farm animal with its offspring. These puzzles offer an extremely fun way to develop observational skills. Children may not know which animal matches with which young, however through looking closely at the characteristics of each animal, they will love to work out the similarities and differences between the different pictures and make educated guesses about which animals match together. Why not extend learning by discussing with your children the similarities and differences between older and younger animals and also between the different types of animals? Extend children’s vocabulary by describing animal body parts such as tail, hooves, paws, fur, snout, etc. Ask questions such as ‘Which animal has the longest/shortest tail?’ The 10 puzzles also each have a unique way of fitting together which enables self-checking.
