Four Corners SEL Activity Plus 2 Emotions Crossword Puzzles
About This Product
In this fun and engaging lesson, students will play four corners with the topic of SEL and get to know each other questions. This is all digital and there is no prep needed so there is no need for posters with numbers to be put on each corner of the classroom. The first couple of slides will have a diagram of where the corners are located in the classroom. Then there is a direction slide to go over what the student in the middle of the room will do to choose the corner that is "out". There are many variations of this game, so use whichever one suits you and your class. The slides show which corner is which answer-I feel like this is helpful because students and teachers forget! Each slide has a question and there are 25 different questions. The questions relate to problem-solving, feelings, school rules, and fun get-to-know-you questions. I have set up the directions for students to take turns being the one in the middle and the student who has their eyes closed (or is blindfolded) will simply point to a corner.
Since there are 25 questions, hopefully, everyone in the classroom will get a turn. (This is always an important aspect with my students in my lessons!) Included in this resource is 2 emotions crossword puzzles. One of them is for upper elementary and one is more for lower elementary. The answers are upside down on the bottom of the page so delete this, white it out, or cut it out before handing it out to students. This is suitable for kindergarten, first grade, second grade, third grade, and fourth grade. This product provides lot of movement for students-this is an important aspect of learning and getting the meaningful concepts to sink in. It is also fun and the students will be engaged and connect with other classmates.
