French: Revision Lesson on Free-time- Les Passe-temps

Your students (of lower intermediate level) will be able to learn or review the topic of Free-time with this French resource pack. In particular, the content focuses on music, TV and cinema- La musique, la télé et le cinéma

Note that this resources does not include content on Technology. You can find a lesson on New Technology here and a lesson on the Use of the Internet here. A lesson for other free-time activities such as going out and sports will be uploaded soon.

Your students will aim to:

- identify the vocabulary about music, TV and films

- pick up other people's like and dislikes about music, TV and films

- provide their personal likes and dislikes and justify

Previous knowledge required:

Your students will need to know some basic vocabulary on Free-time activities and should have an understanding of the present tense.

The lesson covers the following aspects:

- A range of practice activities on instruments, musique genres, TV programs, films and advantages and disadvantages of going to the cinema.

- Grammar: Jouer de + instrument, conjugation of essential regular verbs in the present tense, negation and an introduction to adverbs of frequency

- the practice activities include: Reading, Listening, Writing, Speaking and translation activities

- A homework task
