French: Revision Lesson on The Internet- L'Internet

Your students (of lower intermediate level) will be able to learn or review the topic of Technology with this French resource pack. In particular, the content focuses on the use of the Internet and Social networks- L'Internet et les Réseaux sociaux.

All the files in this resource pack can easily be adapted if needed using the editable versions included.

Your students will aim to:

- briefly describe how they use the Internet

- discuss the advantages and disadvantages of social media

- provide rules or advice to follow in order to be safe online

Previous knowledge:

Your students will need to know the basic vocabulary on New Technology and should have an understanding of the present tense and infinitive constructions with POUR. If you haven't yet covered this with your class, you might find this resource useful.

The lesson covers the following aspects:

- Conjugation of essential regular verbs in the present tense for this topic (finir, travailler, convertir, remplir, répondre, vendre, se connecter, répandre, partager, accomplir)

- The difference between "Grâce à" and " À cause de"

- Advantages and disadvantages of the Internet

- Reading, Listening, Writing, Speaking and translation activities

- A homework task linked to a video comprehension
