Letter I Patterns

Letter I Patterns is a hands-on math resource for teachers to use when teaching pattern recognition. It includes a printable worksheet and manipulative pieces for students to continue AB, AAB, ABB, AABB, and ABC patterns featuring pictures whose names start with the short I vowel sound. Teachers can implement this resource in various ways - as a whole class introductory lesson, a small group activity to differentiate instruction, a homework assignment for extra practice, or as a center that students can complete independently. The pieces can also be attached to magnets or placed in bins for use as a morning work activity.
