Letter Z Dot Painting

Letter Z Dot Painting is a 9-page dot painting literacy resource that helps preschool and kindergarten students learn the letter Z while building fine motor skills. Students will dot paint objects that start with the letter Z like a zucchini and zeppelin. There are also pages for dot painting uppercase and lowercase Z's. Two blank dot painting templates are included for students to design their own creative letter Z's. This activity can be set up in a literacy center, used during quiet time for non-nappers, assigned as morning work, or left for substitute lesson plans. As students dot paint, they will practice letter recognition, sound knowledge, hand-eye coordination and creativity in a low-mess process.
