Little Kids Estimating Practice Task Cards

How do you become good at estimating?

By practice of course!

Students will look at different jars filled with candies and they will use reasoning and logic to tell about how many pieces are in each jar.

In the task card recording sheets students will be able to write their estimate and then be able to count the candies and tell the actual amount.

With this practice students will be able to look at a set and be that much closer to better tell how many in a bunch.

All actual amounts of candies will be under 30.
