Matching animals - array of 4

To start with, the learner will be presented with an array of four animals, one of which will be an identical animal for example a horse. The other three animals will be different from the horse and will be easy to distinguish. The learner's task will be to identify and select the horse that is an exact match to the one presented. As the learner gets better at identifying identical objects, you can make the activity more challenging. In a more advanced stage of the activity, the learner will be presented with an array of four horses, but only one of them will be an exact match to the one presented. The other horses will have subtle differences, such as different colors, patterns, or sizes, making it harder for the learner to find the exact match.

This activity is beneficial for developing the learner's visual discrimination skills, attention to detail, and cognitive flexibility. It can also help improve their memory, concentration, and problem-solving abilities. By providing a fun and engaging way to learn, the activity can motivate the learner to explore and discover more about the world around them.

This activity is easy to create and assemble. All you need to do is print, laminate, cut and velcro. I use binder clips to hold the pages together for many years of teaching and learning
