Presidents' Day Activity Comparing George Washington and Abraham Lincoln
About This Product
Teaching about George Washington and Abraham Lincoln leading up to Presidents' Day can be really fun. This product would be a great extension activity of what you're currently doing in the classroom. This product includes a Venn Diagram for students to compare what they've learned about these two great presidents.
Venn Diagrams are such an easy and effective way to ensure your students are understanding the content being taught. This product can be used after any reading you do whole group about the two presidents. For younger students you may want to complete this activity whole group. For older students, you could have them write down notes about what's important about each president. After learning about both, students can refer back to their notes and find the similarities and differences between the two.
This product could work with grades 2nd through 6th. For 2nd and 3rd graders you may need to give support. For older students they should be able to complete it on their own. This could also work as a partner or small group activity.
