Recognize Angle Pair Categories (comp., supp., vertical, adj, linear)
About This Product
This file contains a check-off page for 7th grade math students to recognize from diagrams the angle pairs of complementary, supplementary, adjacent, linear, and vertical. They will check off the categories in which the angles in the diagram belong. Each angle pair may fall into more than one category. Students are then asked to describe the relationships they see between the angle pairs. Students will be able to keep this chart as a reference when they study angle pairs and use their properties to complete problems. By studying angle pairs students develop logical reasoning and their spatial reasoning and visual interpretation skills will be enhanced. These angle pairs build foundational knowledge for advanced geometric skills. This is a one page chart and the key is included. The standard covered is: Use facts about supplementary, complementary, vertical, and adjacent angles in a multi-step problem to write and solve simple equations for an unknown angle in a figure.
