PAGES 1-2: flash cards with short o words found within the reader.

PAGES 3-8: Tom and Bob reader (basic {not interactive} version)

PAGES 9-14: Tom and Bob reader (interactive version)

PAGE 15: learners will answer reading comprehension questions about the Tom and Bob reader.

PAGE 16: learners will draw lines between matching short o CVC words.

PAGE 17: learners will read CVC words and color the dog bones that show short o CVC words.

PAGE 18: learners will work their way through the maze by coloring the lily pads that show short o CVC words.

PAGE 19: learners will cut out pictures of CVC words and sort them into the appropriate boxes. After sorting, learners will glue the pictures into the appropriate boxes.

PAGE 20: on the provided lines, learners will write “ob” and “og” word family words.

PAGES 21-22: in this hands-on learning activity, learners will sort short o and non-short o words found on Tom’s dog bones.
