Sort/Group Non- Identical Fruit

In the "Sorting Non-Identical Fruit" activity, students will have the opportunity to improve their visual discrimination and categorization skills. The activity consists of fruit activity cards, each depicting a different type of fruit, and six corresponding sorting cards for each fruit. The activity is clean and clear of all distractions making it easy for the learner to focus on the task at hand.

Each sorting card will feature a picture of the same type of fruit, but with subtle differences in color, size, and shape. Students will need to carefully examine the sorting cards and use their critical thinking skills to sort them into the correct group based on the corresponding fruit activity card.

This activity is not only fun and engaging, but also provides an early math foundation by introducing sorting and grouping concepts. This activity is easy to create and assemble - Print, laminate all pages. Easily cut out (once!) the individual sorting fruit cards and velcro to the corresponding pages. This activity can be coil bound or it can be three hole punched and placed in a binder for many years of teaching and learning.
