Spanish Emotions Wheel! (Hands On Activity!)

¿Cómo estás hoy? How are you today? Have your students complete this fun activity to learn how to describe their emotions in Spanish each and every day! (Black & White & color versions included.)
Spanish Vocabulary Covered: feliz, triste, asustado(a), emocionado(a), sorprendido(a), nervioso(a), frustrado(a), enojado(a).

- Print out both of the following pages on white cardstock, (one set per student). Note that there are two versions of this activity, one more complex and one more basic for younger or less advanced students.
- Color each of the emojis, (figure A). (Or if your short on time, use the color versions!)Color in the wheel as you’d like.
- Carefully cut out the wheel and use a push pin to make a hole into the center of the wheel and through the black dot in the center of the “¿Hoy estoy…?” sheet, (figure B).
- Use a paper fastener to attach the wheel so that it turns.
- Gently turn the wheel until the arrow points to the part of the wheel that describes how you feel today in Spanish!
- Have students practice turning the wheel and describing their emotions in Spanish every day!
