SWOT Analysis (Class slidedeck, student handout, and student workbook)

This slide deck and work packet is designed to teach students what a S.W.O.T. analysis is in the entrepreneur and business world, and what they look like in action.

A S.W.O.T. analysis is a strategic planning tool used to evaluate the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats associated with a business, project, or decision. It provides a assessment of factors inside and outside of the business that can impact the health of a business.

More simply, a S.W.O.T. analysis is a way of thinking through a new idea for business through 4 considerations: strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.

Each of those domains are explored in detail in this unit of study. This product teaches students about the foundational business tool and how they can use it in a business or entrepreneurship context!
