Types of Texts Posters for Upper Primary

The Text Types - Upper Primary teaching resource provides educators with 4 large A3 posters exploring the different types of texts that students encounter. The informative, persuasive, imaginative, and narrative text types are clearly defined through real-world examples that use Australian place names to illustrate concepts. These visual posters act as anchor charts that teachers can display in their classrooms as a helpful reference for reading lessons and writing instruction. Students in upper primary grades can utilize the posters to identify text types in their own reading and apply the conventions of each type in their writing. The posters break down complex concepts through student-friendly language and visuals that appeal to diverse learners. This versatile resource allows flexible implementation for whole-group, small-group, or independent work.
