Introduction:
Children will learn about how doodling can be a helpful tool. They will experiment with doodling in various ways and be introduced to a fun graphic novel called, Doodleville by Chad Sell. You may even decide to celebrate the unique holiday, National Doodle Day, on September 3rd, if you happen to come across this lesson around that time of year. Be sure to check out the extension activities at the end of the lesson for resources related to using doodling as a note taking tool and more!
