Practice the triangle angle sum with two nine-question forms. Matching question numbers produce the same missing angle from different information, so partners compare methods and investigate disagreements. Students can also complete both forms individually.
The four-page PDF includes a teacher letter, Partner A, Partner B and solutions. Questions combine diagrams, written angle information and equilateral or isosceles triangle properties. This is missing-angle practice, not triangle-construction work.

Teaching tips
For partner practice, give each student a different form so they compare answers based on different information.
Use the alternative the teacher letter describes when pairing is awkward: give one student both forms and have them reconcile the two versions themselves, showing work on each.
Watch question 9 on the Partner B sheet, where the two equal angles are 67.5° — it is the only item with a decimal measure and it separates students who are doubling before subtracting from those who are not.

How do the two sheets relate to each other?
Question by question. Partner A and Partner B receive different information for the same numbered item, but each pair of items works out to the same missing angle — Partner A's question 4 gives 95° and 12°, Partner B's question 4 gives a diagram, and both come to 73°. That is what makes a disagreement worth investigating.
What forms do the questions take?
Two forms alternate on each sheet. Some items show a labelled triangle and ask for x°; others state the two known interior angles in a sentence, such as 71° and 45°, or 86° and 29°. Four items name the triangle type — one equilateral and three isosceles — and the last item on Partner B's sheet gives two equal angles of 67.5°.
