Turkey Shapes Directed Drawings and Coloring Pages

About This Product
Directed drawings are useful in encouraging reluctant drawers to delve into drawing with a step by step guide. This approach helps to alleviate any feelings of overwhelm if your students are intimidated by the difficulty of drawing from memory or coming up with ideas to draw. Students will develop an appreciation for how well they will be able to use their imagination and put their ideas on paper. These directed drawings are great to use to practice following directions, and they are simply structured.
Use during the autumn and fall season or to add to a turkey and shapes lesson. Great for any age but I recommend using it for K-5th grade. This resource pack is ideal for sub days, art bins, art centers, early finishers, brain breaks and homeschooling art activities. It will be easy to add to your lesson plans as it is easy and low prep. It's also a great resource to deviate from your current lessons to add a simple but fun activity. Not only will students have fun with drawing, they will be engaged and excited to see their finished work. There are five directed drawing pages and five coloring pages. Just grab paper, pencils, and coloring tools. Encourage your students to add more details to their drawing by using shading techniques with their pencil or by coloring their final drawing.
