Clip It and Flip It - Counting Bears
Math, Early Math, Numbers, Kindergarten, Preschool, Grade 1, Activities
Count to 20 with Clip It and Flip It - Counting Bears. Simple to make and use. Answers print on back of cards with double-sided printing - allows for easy, self-checking, independent work! This resource allows for hands on Learning Activity for Pre-K through First. Also good for ESL, Resource, or SPED. Students count to identify how many, and attach a clothespin to their answer. Flip it to check answers. Great for centers, task boxes, small group, individualized work baskets/bags, or take home practice. Students who are unsure of their abilities are more apt to work on the activity and take chances when they do not have to record their answer. These are GREAT for students who have not yet mastered skills. TWO SETS of 20 cards, 40 cards total. One set of 20 with regular print, one set with fun, "whacky numbers." 4 cards per page, straight-line cutting, fewer cuts makes it easier for you. Large cards, clip selection on bottom, makes it easier for left-handed or right-handed students. Clip and Flip cards help develop/strengthen fine motor skills. I print on heavy card stock, laminate for durability, and cut. I place all cards with 3 or 4 clothespins in a task box to add to my center selections. My students LOVE Clip an Flip cards! I have even used some of my cards successfully with second grade students. Teachers love the ease of use and so easy to swap out sets of cards to keep centers interesting and students engaged. One teacher used them as an assessment tool - she had students in a small group at her table, and gave them each a few cards and transparent counters. She used a checklist for marking. You will download a PDF of 28 pages. Select the set you want, and print those pages double-sided. If your printer does not allow double-sided printing, print even pages first, then place them in the printer and print odd pages.
