To play, each student will need one gameboard, one die, 20 objects to mark the inner part of the game board, and a game piece for each student playing. First, a student will roll the die and move his game piece around the outside of the gameboard. The student will then cover the corresponding picture in the middle of the gameboard. The winner or end of game can be determined by one of the following rules below, depending on if the student is playing alone or with a partner. These no-prep, self checking cut and paste math puzzles are great for helping students to focus on addition as they do number bonds for number 23. Preparation: Just print and go! There are 2 pages for each number – The main worksheet and a page with puzzle pieces that need to be cut out and pasted on the worksheet. Each student will need a copy of both pages. There is also a “Back of Puzzle Pieces” page. This needs to be printed on the reverse side of all puzzle pieces pages. There are 2 printing options – colour or black and white You can also mix and match the colour and black and white pages. To complete this sorting activity , students will look at a picture on a kite to determine if the picture begins with the letter K or does not begin with the letter K, and then the students will place the kite on the correct sky mat.
