Do you have fun pages that students fill out at the beginning or end of the year? Do they write about themselves, tell their favorites, write about fun memories throughout the school year? This product could be a great addition to what you already have, or you could pair it with some of my memory book page products. Having a fun keepsake for students to make is always fun. I love having students create one the first few weeks of school, then another one at the end of the year. They love to see how much they've changed during the school year. This product is 3 options for students filling out pages about themselves. There's a Spotlight On page where students can either add a real picture or draw a picture of themselves. The other two pages are all about students' favorites. You could pick one to do. Or, you could have students complete one at the beginning of the year and the other at the end of the year. All 3 pages have 2 options: one with a boy and one with a girl. Printing Note: If you want students to color in the bubble letters, you may need to print in color. It will all still print in black and white, but the color setting will keep the bubble letter effect. You can check this before printing on the print preview page. Click on black/white or grayscale to see if the effect changes. If it does, make sure to hit color.

Looking for an “All About Me” bio poem activity that actually gets your students writing (and sharing a bit about themselves)? At the start of the year, I always find that some students are excited to talk… and others just don’t know what to say or write. That’s where this has worked really well in my classroom. This bio poem activity gives students a simple structure to follow, so they’re not stuck staring at a blank page. The templates guide them step by step, and the simile prompts help them add a bit more detail and personality to their writing without overthinking it. I usually start by showing them an example (there’s one included), and we talk through it together. After that, they brainstorm their own ideas and use the notebook-style templates to draft their poem. It’s very manageable, even for students who aren’t confident writers yet. Once they’ve written their poem, they can create a neat final version using the publishing page. These look great displayed in the classroom, and students genuinely enjoy reading about each other. Everything is included to make it easy to run as a full lesson—there’s a simple lesson plan to follow, plus a rubric if you want to assess the writing without spending ages on marking. I’ve found this works especially well as a getting-to-know-you activity, but it also fits nicely into poetry or writing lessons any time of the year. This All About Me Book is a way to do that. It's a fun and meaningful resource that lets young learners express themselves creatively while learning to write and draw. This printable booklet is perfect for Preschool, Kindergarten, First Grade and Second Grade students. You can use it on the day of school at a meet the teacher night or to add to their portfolios. * Here are 6 things my students will do: ✅They will draw a picture of themselves. ✅They will tell me their color. ✅They will write how old they are. ✅They will share their sport. ✅They will share their food. ✅ Whats Included: There are ready-to-use All About Me pages that I can print. The designs are black and white so they won't use much ink. There are colored and black and white boy and girl crafts. There are 2 designs for the book. My students can choose to color, draw or write and draw. There are 5 questions for them to answer. There are 2 cover sheets for the "All About Me Book". It's easy to use. I just need to print and staple the pages together. I can let my students do one page per day during the week of school. I can also use it as a writing center activity or morning work. I can display their finished books at parent-teacher conferences. I love that it's easy to prepare. I just print and go! It's flexible so I can use it with grade levels and abilities. It helps my students feel confident and share their thoughts. It's a keepsake for my students end-of-year memory folders.
