The name of this fabulous product is: READING-COMPREHENSION PACK | Artificial Intelligence How many pages does it include? This educational document, carefully created and in some cases compiled, has the following number of pages: 20 What format is it in (A4, letter, digital, printable)? This educational resource is designed in A4 format and PDF, so you will have no difficulties printing it and it will also stay well-protected. PDF A4 Is it in black and white or in color? This document is available in black and white as well as in color. Actually, it combines both, making it more attractive for your students. COLOR SECONDARY AND COMPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: For what age, grade, or school level is it ideal? I usually create resources for early grades (children ages 3–5), but I also design for primary students (ages 7–12). My priority is to make children’s learning creative. What learning area does it focus on? This and all my resources focus on children’s essential learning, such as math and literacy. Occasionally, I also create resources for Spanish. What will students learn or practice with it? With this educational resource, children will be able to practice basic skills in math and literacy. Teachers can also adapt it to other learning areas, since learning is multidisciplinary. Who will benefit the most from this resource (teachers, families, students, therapists)? Binary Mystery Pictures Freebie

Binary Mystery Pictures This is an extension activity used after the students have had several lessons on place value for base 2. They should have also had practice converting base 10 numbers using 0 and 1 to write numbers in base 2 (binary). The picture activity takes conversion one step further, having the student filling in each box as a 0 or 1, with a 1 represented by a shaded box. Converting the given numbers from base 10 to base 2 will reveal a pixelated image, as a computer would draw it on the screen. The grid is divided into 2 main sections (A and B), each with 8 smaller columns across. Notice the two columns of numbers along the grid to the left. The column of numbers on the left correspond to section A and the numbers on the right correspond to section B. Directions: 1. For each row, convert each base 10 number to base 2. Show your answer by shading in the appropriate boxes in the corresponding column. A shaded box represents that place value as a “1.” Example: In the grid below, the first row lists 0 and 0, so therefore, no boxes are shaded. In the second row in section A, 0 is listed so again no boxes in that section's row are shaded. In the second row, section B, 15 is shown. To represent 15 as an 8-digit binary number, you would shade the first four boxes from the right to represent “00001111” in the place values filled. 2. Continue converting numbers for each row until the picture is revealed.

Beginning Sound and Ending Sound Matching Game

Preschool and kindergarten students will have fun practicing phonological awareness skills by identifying the beginning sounds and ending sounds in words with these phonics matching cards. What is Included: In this phonics card set, there are 24 total cards, available in both color and black and white. Each set of cards makes 12 pairs of words with the same beginning sounds and ending sounds. Ways to Use: Concentration or Memory Game : Students will start the game by having all of the cards face down. Each student will take turns turning over 2 cards. If both the beginning sound and ending sound of both cards match, then the student keeps the pair. If they do not, then the student puts them back face down. The student with the most correct pairs wins. Find a Partner: The teacher starts by giving each student one of the picture cards. The students then look around at the cards the other students have to see if it matches their beginning sound and their ending sound. Once they find their match, then they found their partner. Students can simply work together to match the cards with the same beginning sound and ending sound. Pairs Included: bag - bug, bat - boat, crab - cab, dog - dig, fan - fin, hat - hut, log - leg, mop - map, night - net, rug - rag, sock - snake, vine - van Skills Assessed: This activity assesses students' abilities at identifying and matching beginning and ending sounds in single syllable words. This activity is a low prep activity for teachers to prepare for students. The cards just need to be printed out and cut apart. They can be laminated for durability if the teacher desires. The cards can be stores in a task box or pencil box for easy set up, clean up and storage options.

Maze Series This maze series is designed for students in grades 2–5. Each set features a clear, kid-friendly theme with scene-based mazes that students first navigate, then complete by drawing a few target words from a simple word list. Pages come in varied styles and graduated difficulty, with an optional “color it in” step—and some themes invite quick calculations to match the task. Long I: Three Review Games Note: This download is in PowerPoint show mode to protect the rights of the image creator(s), and is thus UNEDITABLE. Playing the Game Three games. In the first game, one picture will slowly appear (20 seconds long). Press the cookie in the bottom-left to begin, press again to reveal the answer. Press the arrow in the bottom-right to change to the next page. There are 9 questions in total Second game is similar but there will be two pictures appearing at the same time. Press the donut in the bottom-left to begin. The pictures will appear on the clock, press the pink clock button next to the picture that corresponds to the word at the top. Wrong answer will buzz, correct answer will make a noise and both pictures will be fully revealed. Press arrow in the bottom-right to change page. 4 questions in total. Last game will review the words from the previous game. Word is at the top, four pictures below, choose the correct picture for the word. Incorrect answers will dim out, correct answer will flash. Again, arrow in the bottom-right for the next question. 8 questions in total. About the Game This mix of long I phonics games will give students a perfect way to practice key long I words. With a range of questions and different kinds of pictures, each student will have the chance to practice reading and recognizing 17 long I words. Numbers are on the ball in case students are unable to touch it themselves. There are four animations. One for the correct word (a goal) and three more if the incorrect word is chosen. After a correct answer a next button will appear, incorrect answers will offer a back button to try again. Upon returning to the question screen, words already selected will have the number on the ball removed. Phonics Strategies for 3rd & 4th Graders Part 2 is a 375-page product designed for students in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade who are encountering advanced words in their educational and recreational reading, and need a program that goes beyond the beginning phonics building blocks. Just as later elementary students are getting older and more mature, this program has a more grown-up look. To keep the student’s attention, concepts are presented with multiple approaches including listening skills, identifying, decoding, written work, hands-on activities, pronunciation and spelling rules, letter-tile activities, phonics poems and phonics games. The phonogram types that are emphasized in Part 2 are: Vvc/Vvcc chunks, Vce chunks, and three and four-letter diphthong-vowel phonograms. There are hands-on activities for decoding words that end with ge/ve/ce/ze. 22 pages are devoted to advanced word endings (ture; ible/able; ous/ious/eous; tious/cious/scious; tial/cial/cian/science/cient, etc.). Worksheets on dividing words into syllables focus on three and four-syllable words. To aid the teacher/parent/mentor in presenting the material, included in Phonics Strategies Part 2 are: List of Contents, Tips and Suggestions, Reasons for Selected Content, Suggested Use, Mentor Notes, Phonics Pretest and six Parent Letters.
