The game comes as a Powerpoint Presentation, which is interactive when on put on full screen (presentation mode) There are two versions of the game: version 2 is slightly more difficult than version 1 For each version: - There are 6 categories: Les nouvelles technologies, Internet, Les réseaux sociaux, le téléphone portable, les dangers, je suis accro - A total of 30 phrases to translate: 5 phrases to translate per aspect (level of difficulty increases: first three phrases are French to English, last two phrases are English to French). - model answer provided for each phrase to translate Advice on how to play: Put the PPT presentation full screen to access questions. Simply click on a box to see the question. Click anywhere to see the answer. Click on the button ‘Jeopardy’ from the answer slide to go back to the menu. The box corresponding to the sentences that have been translated will turn from yellow to blue. Students in your class take turns in picking a box (i.e: Mes amis pour 200€) but all students should translate the phrases. Only students with the correct translation receive the ‘money’. When teaching a new language to students or simply teaching non-English speaking students, you’ll always want to make sure you have resources that they can enjoy. From worksheets to activities and games, there are so many good things for you to choose from in my story. This is a French "I have ... Who has ...?" game ! The vocabulary within this game will be The Weather and The Seasons, so students will see and practice many words that they are familiar with. If your students have never played this game before, the idea is simple and includes every learner: --The cards are shuffled and distributed. -- A player starts and asks for a term. -- If they have the right card, they call: "I have …" and ask for the next term. -- The game continues until the last card has been found. This game is played best with a whole classroom of students. You will be surprised how quiet the room will suddenly get and how your learners will listen carefully. There are a total of 23 cards. You can print and laminate the cards for durability. To store the cards, you may choose to put them in a small baggie or hole punch them so they can attach to a binder ring.
