Have fun counting to ten with these Fall Build It! Counting Mats. Each counting mat features a unique autumn theme for students to build a tower to count up to 10. These mats also make a great fine motor activity for preschool and kindergarten students. What is Included: This resource includes a total of 6 build it counting mats with a variety of fall themes. The themes include leaves, hay bales, fall leaf numbers, and fall checkered numbers. The bold and colorful fall images will allow students to have fun with and stay engaged with practicing counting to 10. How to Use: Students will use one mat and one set of stackable counting cubes or building blocks. Students will look at a number on one of the autumn objects and then stack the cubes or blocks up to that number. For example, if the number chosen is 5, then the student will stack 5 blocks on top of that number. How to Use: Students will use these mats as a guide to build each 2D shapes out of clay or playdough. If the playdough mats are laminated, students can build their apple shape directly on the mat without fear that the playdough will stick. Otherwise, the apple shape can be built on a table top.
