They will use the colored connecting cube blocks and create the same object that is on the card. Preschoolers will have a ton of fun with these Halloween themed literacy worksheets. These preschool worksheets focus on letter recognition, letter formation, and prewriting skills. What is Included: Alphabet Mazes - There are two alphabet mazes, one for capital letters and one for lowercase letters. Students will go through the maze by coloring or dotting the candy corn from A to Z. Apple Emergent Reader - There is one emergent reader where students will read about the trick or treaters. Missing Letters - The student will write the missing letter in each letter sequence. Alphabet Cut and Paste - Students will cut out the lowercase letters and glue them next to their corresponding capital letter. Letter Sort - Students will sort letters by whether they are capital letters or lowercase letters. Prewriting Lines - There are two prewriting worksheets. In the first worksheet, students will trace straight lines in a variety of directions from left to right. On the second worksheet, students will trace a variety of lines from left to right, including curves and zigzags. Letter Tracing - There are 6 handwriting worksheets for students to practice writing capital letters and lowercase letters. Three worksheets are for capital letters and three worksheets are for lowercase letters. Syllable Counting - Students will sort Halloween themed pictures according to how many syllables are in each word. These worksheets make great independent practice, emergency sub plans, and can even be used for homework. The variety of different worksheets give students amply opportunities to work on literacy skills. These Halloween themed worksheets are no prep. The teacher just simply needs to print out the desired pages and hand them to students to complete. The alphabet mazes, prewriting pages, tracing letter pages and missing letter pages can be laminated to create a reusable write and wipe activity.

This candy corn addition math station or center makes the perfect hands on math activity for kindergartners and first graders to practice addition facts for sums up to 20 using number bonds, tens frames, number lines or number sentences to solve each addition equation using objects as counters. What is Included: Addition Task Cards for sums up to 20 Number Bond Addition Mat Number Sentence Addition Mat Tens Frames Addition Mat Addition Mat with Tens and Ones Number Line Addition Mat up to 10 Number Line Addition Mat up to 20 Optional recording sheet How to Use: To use this candy corn addition math station, the teacher will choose an addition mat for students to use while solving each addition problem. With the wide variety of addition mats available, the teacher can easily choose one that aligns with the math lesson they are teaching or pair mats for students who need help with various addition strategies. Counters should be provided to assist those students who need extra help with solving each addition equation. Students will take one math fact card at a time and solve it using the counters on their math mat. If the teacher wishes for a written assignment to grade, there is an optional recording sheet for students to record the addition facts they solved. There are a variety of counters that can be used to solve these problems. The teacher can add candy corn candies, mini erasers, or other small manipulatives to use as counters. The cards and counters can be easily stored in the same box for an easy to set up, clean up and store math station.
