Practice manuscript handwriting by tracing or copying with these fall facts handwriting copy work worksheets. Students will have a blast tracing the fun fall facts as well as coloring the related picture at the top of each sentence page. There are sentences and passages included about fall themes such has the changing color of leaves, apples, and acorns. Each worksheet is represented in two different formats to accommodate students on different levels. Types of Pages: Each sentence includes one page for students to trace each sentence. Each sentence and paragraph page includes a worksheet for students to copy the sentence or passage on the lines. The paragraph includes worksheets with primary lines and standard lines. There are sheets to accommodate alternate spellings. How to Use: These worksheets are created so students can trace or copy the fall themed sentences or paragraphs. After tracing or copying the fall fact, the student can then color the picture at the top of the page. When to Use: Writing Center - These worksheets make a great addition to any writing center . Students can choose the sentence they wish to trace or copy and then color the included picture. Morning Work - These tracing and copying worksheets make great morning work for students to complete as their classmates arrive to class. Small Group Activity - The teacher may pull aside a small group of students who need extra practice with handwriting and have them complete these pages. Sub Plans - These worksheets make excellent sub plans as it is an easy activity to set up and because of their easy to follow instructions. These fall copywork pages are a no prep option for teachers to give to students to complete. The worksheets just need to be printed out and handed to students. It’s time for apples, pumpkins, and all things Autumn! Your grade 3 and grade 4 learners are going to love transitioning into the Fall season with these fun and engaging ELA worksheets and activities. They’re sure to add an element of excitement to your ELA curriculum, especially lessons focusing on nouns. As your learners make their way through the 6 worksheets, they’ll strengthen their skills in spelling, categorizing nouns, identifying proper nouns, and writing complete sentences using Autumn-themed nouns. For those days when seatwork is a struggle, but they still need to complete an ELA assignment, use either of the group learning activities. The first activity focuses on using creative drawing skills for teammates to guess the Autumn-themed noun. In the second activity , learners will work in cooperative groups to name as many nouns as possible in the Hoover’s Family Farm picture. Following completion of the worksheets and learning activities, you can assess your learners’ skills with a 12-question quiz. Questions are taken directly from the worksheets and displayed using 12 Power Point slides. You’ll find this product is beneficial in a variety of ways. Not only are the worksheets PRINT and GO, but they are also available in a color version, as well as a black & white version. An answer key for all worksheets is included, too. The picture of Hoover’s Family Farm can be displayed using a Power Point slide or printed on paper for a small group or individual activity . It too is available in both color and black & white. These acorn themed alphabet worksheets are the perfect activity to help students recognize their letters. These pages are designed to be completed with dot markers for an added fine motor component. What is Included: This resource includes one letter worksheets for each letter of the alphabet. Each page includes both capital and lowercase letters. There are several ways to use these worksheets: Students will look at the letters on the acorn in the top right hand corner of the page. Students will then choose two colors to use dot markers to dot the corresponding lettere on the page. Students can use mini erasers or other small manipulatives to cover the target letter. Students can use stickers to cover the letters. Students can use crayons, markers, or colored pencils to color the acorns that contain the correct letter. The teacher can laminate the worksheets and students can use dry erase markers to mark the correct letter. When to Use: Literacy Center: The teacher can place these worksheets in a literacy center for students to complete. Morning Work: These worksheets make a great, easy to set up activity for students to complete as classmates arrive to class. Quiet Time Activity: Students who do not nap can complete these worksheets while their classmates rest.
