There are sentences and passages included about fall themes such has the changing color of leaves, apples, and acorns. Each worksheet is represented in two different formats to accommodate students on different levels. Types of Pages: Each sentence includes one page for students to trace each sentence. Each sentence and paragraph page includes a worksheet for students to copy the sentence or passage on the lines. The paragraph includes worksheets with primary lines and standard lines. There are sheets to accommodate alternate spellings. How to Use: These worksheets are created so students can trace or copy the fall themed sentences or paragraphs. After tracing or copying the fall fact, the student can then color the picture at the top of the page. When to Use: Writing Center - These worksheets make a great addition to any writing center . Students can choose the sentence they wish to trace or copy and then color the included picture. Morning Work - These tracing and copying worksheets make great morning work for students to complete as their classmates arrive to class. It’s time for apples, pumpkins, and all things Autumn! Your grade 3 and grade 4 learners are going to love transitioning into the Fall season with these fun and engaging ELA worksheets and activities. They’re sure to add an element of excitement to your ELA curriculum, especially lessons focusing on nouns. As your learners make their way through the 6 worksheets, they’ll strengthen their skills in spelling, categorizing nouns, identifying proper nouns, and writing complete sentences using Autumn-themed nouns. For those days when seatwork is a struggle, but they still need to complete an ELA assignment, use either of the group learning activities. The first activity focuses on using creative drawing skills for teammates to guess the Autumn-themed noun. In the second activity , learners will work in cooperative groups to name as many nouns as possible in the Hoover’s Family Farm picture. Following completion of the worksheets and learning activities, you can assess your learners’ skills with a 12-question quiz. Questions are taken directly from the worksheets and displayed using 12 Power Point slides. You’ll find this product is beneficial in a variety of ways. Not only are the worksheets PRINT and GO, but they are also available in a color version, as well as a black & white version. An answer key for all worksheets is included, too. Roll and Cover - Students will roll a die and then cover the candy that matches the number rolled. Build It Up - Students will use counting cubes or other stacking manipulatives to build to the number on each candy piece. Counting Cut and Paste - Students will count the number of objects on each line then paste the correct number next to the pictures.
