It’s time for apples, pumpkins, and all things Autumn! Your grade 3 and grade 4 learners are going to love transitioning into the Fall season with these fun and engaging ELA worksheets and activities. They’re sure to add an element of excitement to your ELA curriculum, especially lessons focusing on nouns. As your learners make their way through the 6 worksheets, they’ll strengthen their skills in spelling, categorizing nouns, identifying proper nouns, and writing complete sentences using Autumn-themed nouns. For those days when seatwork is a struggle, but they still need to complete an ELA assignment, use either of the group learning activities. The first activity focuses on using creative drawing skills for teammates to guess the Autumn-themed noun. In the second activity , learners will work in cooperative groups to name as many nouns as possible in the Hoover’s Family Farm picture. Following completion of the worksheets and learning activities, you can assess your learners’ skills with a 12-question quiz. Questions are taken directly from the worksheets and displayed using 12 Power Point slides. You’ll find this product is beneficial in a variety of ways. Not only are the worksheets PRINT and GO, but they are also available in a color version, as well as a black & white version. An answer key for all worksheets is included, too. Apple Alphabet Maze Worksheets for Capital Letters

These apple themed alphabet maze worksheets are the perfect activity to help students recognize capital letters. These pages are designed to be completed with dot markers for an added fine motor component. What is Included: This resource includes one capital letter worksheets for each letter of the alphabet. There are several ways to use these worksheets: Students will look at the letter on the acorn in the top right hand corner of the page. Students will then use dot markers to dot the follow the maze. Students can use mini erasers or other small manipulatives to cover the target letter. Students can use stickers to cover the letter. Students can use crayons, markers, or colored pencils to color the acorns that contain the correct letter. The teacher can laminate the worksheets and students can use dry erase markers to mark the correct letter. When to Use: Literacy Center : The teacher can place these worksheets in a literacy center for students to complete. Morning Work: These worksheets make a great, easy to set up activity for students to complete as classmates arrive to class. Quiet Time Activity: Students who do not nap can complete these worksheets while their classmates rest. Homework: These worksheets are an easy to assign homework activity for students to complete with parents. Small Group Activity: Teachers can call aside small groups of students who need more help with letter recognition to complete these in a small group setting. These worksheets are no-prep. The teacher just needs to print the pages and give them to students to complete. Laminating is only required if the teacher wishes to create a write and wipe activity. Skills Assessed: These alphabet letter maze worksheets assess students' ability to identify and match capital letters. These acorn themed alphabet worksheets are the perfect activity to help students recognize capital letters. These pages are designed to be completed with dot markers for an added fine motor component. What is Included: This resource includes one capital letter worksheets for each letter of the alphabet. There are several ways to use these worksheets: Students will look at the letter on the acorn in the top right hand corner of the page. Students will then use dot markers to dot the corresponding letter on the page. Students can use mini erasers or other small manipulatives to cover the target letter.
