Acorn Find a Letter Alphabet Worksheets

These acorn themed alphabet worksheets are the perfect activity to help students recognize their letters. These pages are designed to be completed with dot markers for an added fine motor component. What is Included: This resource includes one letter worksheets for each letter of the alphabet. Each page includes both capital and lowercase letters. There are several ways to use these worksheets: Students will look at the letters on the acorn in the top right hand corner of the page. Students will then choose two colors to use dot markers to dot the corresponding lettere on the page. Students can use mini erasers or other small manipulatives to cover the target letter. Students can use stickers to cover the letters. Students can use crayons, markers, or colored pencils to color the acorns that contain the correct letter. The teacher can laminate the worksheets and students can use dry erase markers to mark the correct letter. When to Use: Literacy Center: The teacher can place these worksheets in a literacy center for students to complete. Morning Work: These worksheets make a great, easy to set up activity for students to complete as classmates arrive to class. Quiet Time Activity: Students who do not nap can complete these worksheets while their classmates rest. Homework: These worksheets are an easy to assign homework activity for students to complete with parents. Small Group Activity: Teachers can call aside small groups of students who need more help with letter recognition to complete these in a small group setting. These worksheets are no-prep. The teacher just needs to print the pages and give them to students to complete. Laminating is only required if the teacher wishes to create a write and wipe activity. Skills Assessed: These alphabet letter find worksheets assess students' ability to distinguish between capital and lowercase letters. Students can also work on fine motor skills by using dot markers or small manipulatives to complete these pages.

Does your Autumn ELA curriculum include parts of speech, particularly adjectives? If so, you have found a great product to help your grade 3 and grade 4 learners strengthen their grammar skills. Within the pages of this product, you will find engaging worksheets, an exciting science and art craftivity, a cooperative group game, and a quiz to tie together the presented concepts. Learning how to properly use adjectives doesn’t need to be a daunting task. In fact, after completing these activities, your learners will walk away with a newfound confidence in their writing abilities. The best part is, they get to use hands-on learning fun to better comprehend these foundational ELA skills. Each activity includes Autumn-themed pictures and activities, giving you and your learners a full three month to incorporate and master the use of adjectives. While each of the 6 worksheets focuses on adjectives, your learners will also practice spelling, categorizing, writing, and identifying synonyms. The worksheets are great for individual or group work, quiet seat work, and/or homework. When you learners need a break, engage them in a cooperative group game that focuses on finding the most unique adjective to describe an Autumn-themed picture. The 3-part “Describing Pumpkins” activity is a wonderful way for your learners to describe a pumpkin while using their 5 senses and creating a piece of artwork in the process. It’s a bit of science, art, and ELA all rolled into one. Finally, as a means of assessing your learners in their levels of mastery, there is a quiz presented within 12 Power Point slides. It’s time for apples, pumpkins, and all things Autumn! Your grade 3 and grade 4 learners are going to love transitioning into the Fall season with these fun and engaging ELA worksheets and activities. For those days when seatwork is a struggle, but they still need to complete an ELA assignment, use either of the group learning activities. The first activity focuses on using creative drawing skills for teammates to guess the Autumn-themed noun. In the second activity , learners will work in cooperative groups to name as many nouns as possible in the Hoover’s Family Farm picture. Following completion of the worksheets and learning activities, you can assess your learners’ skills with a 12-question quiz. Questions are taken directly from the worksheets and displayed using 12 Power Point slides. You’ll find this product is beneficial in a variety of ways. Not only are the worksheets PRINT and GO, but they are also available in a color version, as well as a black & white version. An answer key for all worksheets is included, too. Your grade 3 and grade 4 learners are going to enjoy practicing their grammar skills with this set of Autumn themed worksheets and learning games. Designed specifically to focus on verbs, these activities will provide your learners with the opportunity to strengthen a variety of skill sets. Throughout the 6 worksheets they’ll practice identifying verbs, expanding their vocabulary with synonyms and antonyms, and developing strong writing skills. The two learning games will get your learners up and moving, as well as working collaboratively to identify a variety of verbs associated with the Autumn themed pictures. There’s no better way to reinforce skills that with whole body learning. The product rounds out with a quiz presented in 12 Power Point slides. Questions are taken directly from the worksheets, reducing test anxiety. Not only that, but it’s a great way for you to assess if current learning goals are being met. All around, this is the perfect product for you and your learners. The activities can be used over the span of 3 months. The worksheets are beneficial for individual or group work, homework, or rainy-day seat work. When your learners are a bit squirrely, set aside the worksheets and engage them with either of the learning games. Both the worksheets and games are available in a color version, as well as a black & white version. An answer key is also provided for each worksheet. The Power Point quiz is only available in color however, the answer recording sheet includes both versions. Take a look the details of each page in the list below. PAGE 1: Learners will identify the verb among 3 given words for each Autumn-themed picture. PAGE 2: Learners will unscramble each verb that is provided next to an Autumn-themed picture. PAGE 3: Learners will write the past tense form of the verb that is provided next to an Autumn-themed picture. PAGE 4: Learners will write two verbs for each Autumn-themed picture. PAGE 5: Learners will write a synonym or antonym for the provided verb next to each Autumn-themed picture. PAGE 6: Learners will use the words in the word bank to write action sentences that follow an Autumn theme. PAGE 7: Directions for the learning game, Sam Says, where learners perform a variety of verbs based on directions called out by the teacher. PAGES 8-10: Directions and picture cards for the learning game, What’cha Doin?, where learners work in groups to identify as many verbs as possible for the given Autumn-themed picture. These apple themed alphabet worksheets are the perfect activity to help students recognize lowercase letters. These pages are designed to be completed with dot markers for an added fine motor component. What is Included: This resource includes one lowercase letter worksheets for each letter of the alphabet. There are several ways to use these worksheets: Students will look at the letter on the acorn in the top right hand corner of the page. Students will then use dot markers to dot the corresponding letter on the page. Students can use mini erasers or other small manipulatives to cover the target letter. Students can use stickers to cover the capital letter. Students can use crayons, markers, or colored pencils to color the acorns that contain the correct letter. The teacher can laminate the worksheets and students can use dry erase markers to mark the correct letter. When to Use: Literacy Center: The teacher can place these worksheets in a literacy center for students to complete. Morning Work: These worksheets make a great, easy to set up activity for students to complete as classmates arrive to class.
