Some of the strategies on this poster include; ask for help, take a breath, use a fidget tool, drink water, eat a snack, listen to music, journal, squeeze a stuffy, identify emotions, go on a nature walk, use origami, be kind to yourself, play a game, visualize a happy place, yoga, read, squeeze a stress ball, quiet time, take a break and many more. An alternative to using cotton swabs and paint is to have students decorate their pictures with dots of colored glue.
