This is aMultiplication Packetfor your 3rd grade students. It may be used in class or as homework. The objective of this resource is for students to improve and master multiplication skills. The activities in this packet follow Common Core standards. I use these sheets as my homework program, though they can easily be used as in-class practice. If you choose to implement this during class time, you can do so in a variety of ways from page to page: Whole group – Complete a page with your entire class and you can project the page onto the whiteboard. Small group – Have students work in small groups to complete a page. You can also pull a small group to your table and work alongside them. This allows you to informally assess their mastery. Partner work – Students can work in groups of two to complete pages that you assign. Math centers – Pages can be placed in small groups for students to complete. This pack is broken down into 11 parts: --Equal Groups --More Equal Groups --Multiples of Six --Multiples of Seven --Multiples of Eight --Multiples of Nine --Multiples of Four --Multiples of Three --Multiples of Two, Five, and Ten --Multiplying Multiples of Ten --Properties of Multiplication I like to begin with the more difficult multiples & end with the least difficult as it gives them more time to work on the harder stuff. Help children learn to recognise and name common spring flowers/animals etc… with our picture cards. Play Snap on two levels of difficulty: Start by matching like for like (cards with both pictures and words) for ages 3+ and progress to the harder version which involves matching without clues. The words are phonetically coded to help with decoding, though it is not necessary to be able to read the words - naming is the aim of the game . Other uses:** These cards can also be used: for sorting activities (e.g. frogspawn/tadpole/frog; flower (inc. catkins); young: lambs, chicks, tadpoles; etc…) To stimulate discussion To encourage children to look for these signs of spring!

Topics are varied and are accompanied by colorful graphics. Topics are meant to educate, yet entertain the modern student. These passages are perfect for the modern classroom. Whereas textbooks can become outdated in no time, any changes to technology or the world will result in updates to this product. Mixed Questions The mixed questions section of each lesson includes a variation of five comprehension, vocabulary and math questions. In addition, key reading strategies are frequently covered including cause & effect, summarizing, compare & contrast and making conclusions. Two or three of the questions will be MCQs and other questions will require a written response of some kind. Full answers and example responses appear at the end of the lesson. Spelling & Vocab Each reading passage contains a variety of words and phrases designed for Grade 4-5 students. Spelling and vocab activities provide the opportunity to build fluency with these words. As it can become quite mundane doing the same activities over and over, each lesson in a set will contain a different spelling and vocab activity . Activities include: spelling games, sentence match-ups, mixed-up text and decoding words from the lesson. Writing Prompts Writing prompts are designed to continue the theme or lessons learned in the story. Students are persuaded to write in a variety of ways and each prompt includes several cues to help. As with the spelling/vocab section, writing prompts will vary. This includes research pieces, reading responses, poetry and creative writing prompts. Full Answer Keys Full answer keys and sample responses are provided so no matter how busy you are, you know you're covered! Mixed question answers provide evidence from the text, math questions contain the relevant workings. Answers are designed for use by the teacher, but also suitable as a handout to the student. Just for Fun Each lesson will have a bonus extension exercise. This is something fun to extend the lesson with. You can find these at the end of each lesson, titled Just for Fun. Just for Funs are optional. Some you may like, some you may not. Either way, they are there to do with as you wish. For similar downloads and other frees, do check out Cored Group on TeachSimple.

AI: Phonics Workbook Reading Made Simple
Phonics, Language Development, ELA, Spelling, Kindergarten, Worksheets & Printables, Worksheets
Reading Made Simple — Free AI Phonics Workbook These little workbooks have been a quiet favourite with families using Reading Made Simple for some time now. Each one focuses on a single sound and prints on just one sheet of A4 paper — double-sided, folded in half to make a neat A5 booklet that children can hold and work through at their own pace. They are entirely optional. The phonics programme works perfectly well without them, but many parents and teachers find them a useful companion — either as structured practice or simply as a source of ideas to dip into when needed. Tested by real children: One 5-year-old user is quoted as having said, 'The worksheet is the best bit of my lessons!' Other parents have noted that their child likes the worksheet because 'they think it is easy'. When learning is broken down into small, achievable steps, with no curve balls to throw them off track, every child can say, 'I can read!' When I hear these reviews, I know that I have succeeded in my aim to write a phonics curriculum that can help children of all abilities learn to read and spell. These little workbooks are just one small part of what there is to offer. Please do check out the website for more information. Each workbook offers a gentle mix of activities built around the target sound. Children will read short passages that practise the new sound alongside words from sounds already taught, track and identify the sound within words to support both reading and spelling, practise spelling and sentence writing, and work through simple editing exercises where they spot and correct mistakes. These small editing tasks are particularly worthwhile — they encourage children to look carefully at words rather than guessing from context. The workbooks are particularly well-suited to younger children just beginning their phonics journey, and to older children with special educational needs who are still building their foundational reading and spelling skills. That said, they will not suit every child. Some will find them too long, others too straightforward. Use your own judgement — pick the activities that fit, leave the rest, or set them aside entirely. There is no obligation and no right or wrong way to use them. To print: print double-sided, flipping on the short edge. Fold in half to create your A5 booklet. The answer page at the back is optional. One sheet of paper. One sound. Everything a child needs to practise, consolidate and grow in confidence.
