Thursday - Reread the story from Wednesday. discuss the element again discuss the title and author pass out the 4 pages stapled together for students to cut. create the booklet and walk students through the pages of the booklet (students who need more time can finish on Friday. Friday - Complete the booklet. Pass out exit tickets to identify the element learned. (you can write the 4 elements on the board for students to choose from)

These cute little books are a great addition to color lessons! Staple them together, help your students color and write, and send them home to share with families! This project helps practice fine motor skills through coloring and writing, creativity, pre-writing skills, and letter and word identification. These color resources will help you create amazing activities and lessons to become more familiar with colors, identifying colors, finding colors, and experiencing colors in real life ways. Check out other coordinating color activities! How To Use This: Print the color booklets you will be using with your students. Help them cut each page in half (2 pages per page), pile them together, and use a staple to attach them into a booklet. Then help them color the pictures and use their pre-writing and early reading skills to read and copy the sentence on each page.
