This 'SN' Initial Consonant Digraph PowerPoint is a taught lesson especially suitable for those who have special needs or need a slower pace. Special features of the 'SN' PowerPoint lesson No words are introduced that cannot be sounded out. There are no distractions for the special needs child to have to 'block out' before s/he can learn - no jingly music, no comic pictures. Nothing moves quickly. Everything is explained very simply. What is included in/with the 'SN' Digraph PowerPoint ? This 'SN' PowerPoint is a narrated lesson. The PowerPoint format means that you can go at a pace suitable for your pupils. It is just like having your own phonics teacher! There are 40 slides. We begin by introducing developing phonemic awareness of the initial digraph SN, We move on to sound out words with 'SN'. This is followed by some tracking exercises - short sentences where the pupil is asked to spot the 'NG' sound in the words before reading each sentence.
