Tai and Tim Beginner Reader introduces young students to essential sight words through an engaging 12-page story. Third graders Tai and Tim embark on an exciting adventure filled with Fry sight words and blended vocabulary to bolster reading skills. Three comprehension pages allow educators to assess understanding or assign as extension activities. This color or black-and-white reader is designed for back-to-back printing to save paper. Use the story for whole-class read-alouds, small reading groups, or individual practice. An optional 5-day lesson plan is included to introduce new sight words, play sight word games , read the story aloud, and boost fluency. Extend skills mastery by using the three other readers in this series featuring relatable characters and vivid illustrations to captivate early elementary students while increasing sight word recognition.
