Be A Warrior Not A Worrier SEL Lesson Plan In this Google Slide presentation, there is an 8 slide presentation (read slide notes for the tempo and layout of the lesson), there is a note-taking sheet, 5 different scenarios, and a black and white shield for the end activity. Students will learn about how to be a warrior, not a worrier. The use of colorful imagery of male and female warriors will hook students. They will learn about strategies using the acronym S.H.I.E.L.D. They will also be in groups, applying the strategy to a scenario. There are 5 different scenarios. At the end of the lesson, students will draw and write their own strategies inside a shield. These can be displayed on a bulletin board . Feel free to preview the slide show via the preview video. This lesson would also be good for small groups focusing on decreasing anxiety.
