Laws of Exponents Lessons | Intro Lesson: Exponents Basics

If you are about to begin teaching Laws of Exponents to your math students, this is a great series of lessons that will guide and/or complement your instruction.

This is a Mini Introduction Lesson for Exponents Basics.

It comes equipped with 3 components:

--An MP4 file that will walk students through the lesson. This is a 2-minute video for students to learn, practice and review this skill.

--A Guided Notes printable. You should print this off for students to fill out while listening to the video lecture. Being able to take notes along the way will help students solidify their learning. It is 1 page.

--A Laws of Exponent Summary Sheet. This is a 1-page printable that can serve as a quick visual reference for what students have learned in this lesson.

This lesson is designed for high school math students.

Students can complete their guided notes and summary sheets independently or in partners.
