Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes is an exceptional historical fiction book. It's a short book, so I decided to create exit quizzes for each chapter, and a rigorous writing prompt for each chapter. I also created summary activity pages for the students to learn from and can be used for any chapter. Many core standards are imbedded in each exit quiz, and each quiz is great practice for state assessments.
