Communication Vocabulary Flashcards For Preschool, Montessori, and Kindergarten Bulletin Boards I created these communication vocabulary flashcards to help young children express their needs, feelings, and ideas in a simple and visual way. They work well especially for preschool, Montessori, and kindergarten classrooms, but they’re also helpful at home. All the picture cards inside are easy to understand and designed for children who are still developing speech, have limited language, or need extra support communicating. You can use them on bulletin boards, communication boards, and during small-group activities to encourage everyday real-life communication. I created this resource with very young children in my mind. What’s inside? This resource includes 40+ colorful picture cards with clear images and simple words. The vocabulary focuses on what young children need most during their day, including: Actions: bounce, walk, climb, crawl, spin, and more Emotions: happy, sad, mad, tired, thirsty etc. Questions: who, what, where and more Basic needs & words: yes, no, help, stop, more, finished etc. Objects: ball, toys, numbers, letters (vowels and consonants), toilet etc. People: mommy, daddy, sister, brother, teacher, friends etc. Food Habits: Vegan or Vegetarian Alphabet cards: consonants and vowels grouped separately for easy organization Each card includes a clear picture with one simple word to support understanding and communication. You can also use them as flashcards Easy to laminate for repeated classroom or home use These are perfectly sized so toddlers and young children can easily point to the cards Ways to use these flashcards: You can use these cards for/as: Classroom communication Place the cards on a bulletin board or wall at child height. Children can point to words like “thirsty,” “help,” or “play” when they need something. Flashcards Use the cards during small groups, matching games, or simple vocabulary practice. Speech & Language Support During circle time, ask questions like “How do you feel?” or “What do you want?” and let children respond by pointing to a card. Dolch Primer Sight Word BINGO - 30+ Bingo Cards, Flashcards & Word Lists

This is a bingo game that practices all the Primer high-frequency sight words. Along with that, this resource features a bunch of flash cards that you can use to introduce and practice these words. You can choose to print them with sharp edges or curved ones, though I prefer the curved ones. Otherwise students might hurt themselves on the edges, which is something we'd like to prevent altogether. Now with this resource come a bunch of Bingo sheets. So just print out the flash cards and draw them one by one. The students can now cross the words off from their very own bingo cards. Once they have filled out the entire card, they can yell out the magic word, which is of course BINGO. You csn decide for yourself if you also want to attach a prize to this in order to motivate your students even more. Finally, there are word lists.

Let's making learning Fry's sight words more interesting. This resources brings Fry's sight words into the digital age. Start off by introducing your students to these sight words by offering the PDF-based, Digital activity. Use the arrow keys to navigate through this resource after you opened it and displayed it on full screen. Students can even do this all by themselves. Then, test their sight word knowledge by opening up the digital fill in the blanks exercise. It works in the same way. Look at each question and press the right arrow key to reveal the answer. Do this for the entire quiz. Again, students can do this by themselves as well. If you would prefer to do this test on paper, no problem! There is a printable version as well, that comes with an answer key. Finally, there are two vocabulary lists, one in order of frequency and the other in alphabetical order. Let's do this!

Gym Vocabulary - Digital Activities, Word List & Quiz + 4 Flashcard Sets

This resource is a comprehensive lesson that uses 20 gym-related vocabulary words. First off, you can introduce these words by using the PDF -based presentation. With the arrow keys, you just move from one word to another to make your students familiar with them. Next, You can hand out the vocabulary lists. Beware that these are made with color, so in order to be eco-friendly you might want to use black and white ink. Once the students have taken these lists home, they can do the vocabulary test in their next class. They can practice with the words by utilizing the included flash cards. These just need to be printed, laminated, and cut. Beware of sharp edges though. You can use the curved edges version to avoid annoying pinches. Finally, use the Wacky Words activity to have a really good time in class. With this, all the letters are mixed up. Students love this.

Short or Long Vowel? Multiple Choice Quiz + Digital & Print Flashcards

First off, there's a digital quiz. It's a PDF, so you can just pop it up on the screen. Kids get to see a word, and a picture of it, and they have to say if it's a short or long vowel sound. And get this, it tells them right away if they're right! So, they learn as they go. Then, there are digital flashcards. They use the same words as the quiz, so it all ties together. You can even choose if you want them to focus on just short vowels or just long vowels. It's up to you. And if you're more of a paper and pencil kinda person, no problem. There are printable flashcards too. Two different sizes, so you can pick what works best. They have all the short and long vowel words in them. Basically, this thing is perfect for little kids, like preschool to second grade. But honestly, anyone who wants to get better at those vowel sounds will find it helpful. It helps with spelling, and vocabulary, and just getting better at reading in general. It's a really good way to make learning fun, and that's what's important, right?
