Sight Words Flash Cards 1 - 100 Fry's List Version 6 VISUAL CLOSURE : This is the sixth version of Fry' Sight Words list presented as posters and flash cards . It is part of a resource series that aims on early reading competence and fluency skills acquisition for students in K, 1st and 2nd grade . There are A4 size cards included that you can use as bulletin board pins, screen and whiteboard slides / presentations or posters on your classroom walls . The same words from the list are also presented in a smaller version ( 9 on one page ) for easier and cost effective printing and laminating, when desired or suited . Use them in your everyday teaching as visual exposure, as a flip through dictionary, as a snap or match to sample game and more . In this series you will find versions of the words with a Visual Perception factor : Visual Closure ( the skill to visualize a complete whole when given missing information / picture ) . This is a PowerPoint featuring Multiplication Flashcards for the 2 Times Table Number Facts and their related division sums. The flashcards can be used in order or shuffled to add an extra challenge. In addition, facts answered incorrectly can be moved and presented again at the end. If the teacher prepares the PowerPoint before the lesson, then the facts that are being worked on can be placed first. A quiz can be set up and timed to help children become proficient at the 2 X multiplication and division facts. A 'Ready, Steady, Go' slide helps to make the quiz more fun. You can print them twice to play Matching Pairs (also known as Memory®), where students turn over cards and try to find identical pairs. This helps improve concentration and recall while reinforcing students’ familiarity with element symbols and atomic numbers. There’s also room for differentiation: stronger students can work without a periodic table for support, while others use it alongside. The black-and-white version is copy-friendly and works well if you want students to color-code elements (e.g. metals vs. non-metals). All the picture cards inside are easy to understand and designed for children who are still developing speech, have limited language, or need extra support communicating. You can use them on bulletin boards, communication boards, and during small-group activities to encourage everyday real-life communication. I created this resource with very young children in my mind. What’s inside? This resource includes 40+ colorful picture cards with clear images and simple words.
