This is a Social Story for Safe Hands and Feet. Social stories are ideal for young learners who need more support with interacting in social settings as well as students with developmental delays. Exposing any of your young learners to social stories will benefit them as most students can benefit from developing stronger social skills. Students who enter Kindergarten but did not attend any sort of preschool may especially benefit from social stories. These can be implemented at the start of the school year when you begin to discuss classroom procedures and expectations. This is also ideal any time of the year. Social stories are impactful in school settings, home settings and any other childcare settings. The words are paired up with images that will help students identify certain emotions and how to best respond in certain situations. Some examples of the stories included are: I need to remember to keep my hands and feet to myself. This will make my friends happy and want to play with me because they feel safe. My teachers and parents will also be happy when I have safe hands and feet. When I get angry or I think someone is being mean to me I need to STOP and think is this a good choice or a bad choice? I can sit in a quiet place until I can calm down. Sometimes I have to wait for things that I want. Sometimes I have to do things I do not want to do. Sometimes I feel angry when something happens that I don’t like.

The second page has multiplications with three terms and the next page up to four terms, to increase the difficulty level gradually. (chapters 1-3) -Turn expressions with negative exponents to fractions. The first tasks of this kind will only have one term, to keep it simple. (chapter 4) -Writing multiplications of 2-4 terms as one power, when they have the same base. (Chapter 5) -Simplify powers before calculation the result. In this chapter, we use only numbers, and bases are the same. (Chapter 6) -Simplify before calculating with different bases (Chapter 7-8) -Write fractions as multiplications/negative exponents (Chapter 9) -Apply what they have learned to more complicated expressions including also addition (Chapter 10) -Practice your skills and pay a special attention to when you can combine powers and when not (Chapters 11-13) All answers are included. Multiplying Polynomials - Worksheets

Multiplying Polynomials - Worksheets
Math, Algebra, Grade 8, 9, 10, Worksheets & Printables, Worksheets

Worksheets for practicing multiplying monomials, binomials, trinomials, and polynomials with four or more terms, with and without exponents. Every Worksheet has 12 questions, which start simple but then develop gradually with questions 11 & 12 being more challenging. The 6 Sets are also arranged in an order that will hopefully help you to plan building the students' knowledge, skills and confidence with multiplying polynomials. By being able to randomise the numbers in the questions at the click of a button you will be able to generate sufficient worksheets for as much practice throughout the year as is needed to keep the skills alive. Worksheet Set 1 Students are asked to multiply simple monomials by (mainly) binomials, with some tri- & a quadri- nomial. There are no exponents to calculate. Worksheet Set 2 Students are required to multiply binomials by a monomial, moving a stage further to include exponents in each term. Worksheet Set 3 This set involves multiplying two or more monomials each with a number of variables with exponents. Worksheet Set 4 Students now practice multiplying two binomials which will include calculating multiplying variables with exponents, plus the added step of needing to combine like terms to obtain the final answer. Worksheet Set 5 This Set contains questions that include multiplying binomials by trinomials, trinomials by trinomials and trinomials raised to the power of 2 and 3 and students will practice combining like terms. Worksheet Set 6 This has an extra element in that instead of only using the standard algorithms for multiplying polynomials there is an alternative using Pascal's triangle as a way to calculate binomial terms raised to various powers through recognising the symmetry of the powers and building of the coefficients for each term. There is additional support material for this set. Answers are automatically generated every time. Note These resources work with the official Adobe Acrobat Reader on Windows or Mac computers.-
