As a homeschool mom who has struggled with keeping my teenagers engaged in meaningful learning during those lazy summer days, I know how challenging it can be to maintain momentum without overwhelming busy schedules. That is exactly why I created these July ELA Bell Ringers – 23 carefully planned daily activities that take just 10-15 minutes but pack a real punch in terms of skill building. I have watched my own daughter groan at the thought of "summer school," but these quick, varied exercises actually get them excited about writing again. Each activity builds naturally on the previous day's work, creating a gentle but effective learning progression that keeps minds sharp without feeling like drudgery.
