How to Use This:
Print the paper crown pages that coordinate with the letter you are teaching. Hand a template to each student. Have your students cut out the pieces for the crown and color the pictures. Add colors and decorations. Then help your students staple the pieces together to fit onto their heads. Help your students identify and name each of the letter words shown in pictures on the crown. As a group, brainstorm other things that begin with that letter.
This paper craft is great for independent work, center fillers, homework, or just additions to your letter lessons. If you are using a letter of the week type of approach, this art activity would fit right in!
