Beginning Sounds Workbook

As teachers, we know the major impact that literacy has on our lives.  It is the most fundamental skill that is necessary in order to gain the knowledge of anything else that may peak our interests.  If nothing else is instilled in our students, let the ability and love of reading be the goal we have for them.

It all begins at a young age, from chewing on baby books, to exploring picture books, to being read to by a beloved adult in their lives.  However, as teachers, we have a huge task set before us when it comes to keeping that thirst for knowledge alive in our students.  The best thing we can do for them is build their confidence by taking slow and steady steps.  Let this book aid you in doing just that.

This is a Beginning Sounds Workbook that can be used however you see fit. These workbook pages will work well as morning work, homework, small groups, and even reading centers.

The workbook will focus on consonants, vowels, blends, and digraphs. Answer keys are included for you.
