  3. 3) Behaviors: Behaviors represent the actions or reactions that individuals engage in based on their thoughts and emotions. Thoughts and emotions can significantly influence one's behavior and choices. For example, if someone has negative thoughts about their abilities, they may avoid certain activities or situations. CBT aims to help individuals identify unhelpful behaviors and develop healthier behavioral responses based on more accurate thinking patterns.

The cognitive triangle suggests that there is an interconnectedness between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. By understanding and addressing each component, individuals can work towards positive changes in their lives. CBT techniques, such as cognitive restructuring, focus on identifying and modifying negative or distorted thoughts to promote more balanced thinking, healthier emotions, and adaptive behaviors.
