Converting Units of Time Task Cards and Power Point Slides
About This Product
Time flies when you’re having fun! That’s what your learners will think as they work to solve the math problems in this set of 20 task cards. The main concepts presented throughout the cards are converting units of time measurement and elapsed time. Your grade 5 and grade 6 learners will work with units of time including seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, and years. They’ll be presented with four types of questions: direct questions and answers, fill-in the blank, multiple choice, and word problems. The word problems are written in a way that will draw in your learners because they present them with real-world scenarios. These task cards will not only benefit your upper elementary learners, but you as well. The cards are available in a color version, as well as a black & white version, saving you on the amount of ink/toner used during printing. Along with that, the answer recording sheets that your learners will use to write down their answers come two to a page. This will reduce the number of copies you will need to make. An answer key is also provided for your convenience. Best of all, with this product you will find a corresponding set of 20 PowerPoint slides. They make the perfect addition to the task cards because you can easily turn them into a whole class lesson. No doubt that task cards are a versatile teaching tool. You can use them in a variety of educational environments and with multiple learning groups. For your learners, memorizing units of time measurement can be a daunting task. A visual aid guide is included with this product to help your learners when they need an added boost while working through the task cards. This guide is available in full-page, half-page, and quarter-page options. See below for the details of what this product provides.
