About This Product

All About Crime is an intermediate English lesson plan for educators teaching English language learners. Students will read an informative text and listen to an audio file to learn about crime. After acquiring vocabulary and background knowledge, students will answer comprehension questions and complete grammar exercises to practice their language skills. Educators can implement this resource in various ways - as a whole group activity, small group work, independent practice, or even as a homework assignment. This versatile resource helps build students' academic language, content knowledge, and critical thinking in an engaging way. Answer keys are provided for all student handouts. This paper-based resource is also available digitally through Google Apps for seamless classroom integration.

This ESL ELA TEFL lesson plan is started with some new flash cards and a warmer and then followed by learning some vocabulary suitable for the lesson. That's followed by a reading passage and some exercises before students listen to an audio file. The class is finished with another exercise, conversation topics and an activity. If there is time there is an added writing drill and further exercises that can be completed in the classroom or set as homework.
