About this resource

What's inside this resource

Oklahoma 1st grade teachers can use this map to plan an August–May year of ELA, math, science and social studies. Each subject has ten monthly plans that name the focus, a short learning sequence and the evidence to collect. In ELA, the year moves from hearing sounds and print routines to long vowels, word parts and research; math builds from tens and counting to 100 through shapes, money, time and data; science follows sky patterns, sound and light, and living things; social studies covers civic symbols, maps, cultures and spending choices.

All of the editing happens in the Excel workbook. Year Map shows the calendar, Monthly Plans holds all 40 plans with revisit notes, and Coverage Audit lists the grade 1 Oklahoma objectives each month schedules, including lettered details. An Ongoing and Local sheet and a Version Register keep routines, local choices and source years together. The 12-page PDF is a readable copy for printing or planning meetings.

  • Grade 1, Oklahoma: ELA, math, science and social studies in 40 monthly plans
  • 12 PDF pages: calendar, source versions, two pages per subject, recurring routines and a coverage page with lines for a local decision
  • Three files: a full-color PDF, a print-friendly black and white PDF and an editable Excel workbook (.xlsx) you can adapt
